Dogs Name: Guinness

Health Condition: F.C.P/Arthritis

“From the first session, we noticed a difference. He became a more comfortable, much brighter dog. As the sessions went on, he was able to do more and more exercise as his muscles developed strength, which means he can keep his weight down, so less weight on joints. We are often stopped and people are shocked at how well he looks despite what he's been through with his operation etc. The added benefit is that Guinness absolutely loves going to Operation K9, he loves swimming and all the staff. ”

We would highly recommend Operation K9 and we are so grateful for the improvements we have seen in Guinness. Overall we have a got a healthier, happier and more comfortable dog. Thank you. ”

Dogs Name: Scooby

Health Condition: Hip Dysplasia

“We started taking our dog Scooby to hydrotherapy at Operation K9 after he was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia at 6 months old - he had a weak back end and was in pain. He has been swimming regularly for nearly 2 years and what a transformation! 36kg of solid muscle, he can gallop and play fetch, is full of life and daft as a brush! The orthopaedic vet is pleased that with regular swimming and some medication he shouldn't need the planned surgery. Thanks, K9!”

Dogs Name: Dexter

Health Condition: Elbow Dysplasia

“They were amazing with my boy who certainly isn’t a fan of swimming but after only two sessions he was swimming like a pro. Love that they use positive reinforcement too. I was given lots of exercises to do with Dexter at home to help his rehabilitation from arthroscopy surgery for elbow dysplasia. Would highly recommend them. Brilliant and I’m sure Dexter is starting to really enjoy his hydrotherapy already.”
